In FRODDO, we are dedicated to shaping the future of automated and connected mobility. To this end, all partners actively contribute to FRODDO’s exploitation activities, ensuring both short-term and long-term valorisation of the knowledge generated. To further reinforce these activities, the project has recently activated the Horizon Results Booster service; an initiative from the European Commission to enhance exploitation and dissemination activities of EU-funded projects.
ITML leads and coordinates exploitation activities, facilitating communication between contributing partners and the external Horizon Results Booster experts.
Progress so Far: From Results to Strategy
Before initiating the Horizon Results Booster activities, several preparatory steps were completed:
Definition of Key Exploitable Results (KERs)
Dedicated exploitation workshops, led by ITML, were held to identify all knowledge generated in FRODDO. During these sessions, partners discussed potential technical collaborations after the project and protecting their knowledge.
As a result, 8 KERs were identified, both individual and joint, were identified. They form the foundation for developing exploitation plans, and three of them will be primarily focused on the Horizon Results Booster workshops.
Initial Meetings with Booster Experts: Initial meetings have already taken place between the FRODDO exploitation and coordination team with the assigned experts, establishing a shared understanding of:
i. The project’s objectives
ii. The prioritisation of three KERs
iii. The roadmap towards materialization
What Comes Next
The remainder of the exploitation activities will focus on developing dedicated exploitation plans for each KER. The orchestrated booster services will support the planning and refinement of the exploitation pathways for the first three KERs during the first half of 2026. After that, the activities will be extended to the remaining KERs.
Looking Ahead:
The activation of the Horizon Results Booster services underscores partners’ intention to valorise the knowledge generated within FRODDO and ensure the project outcomes will support a change that will endure over time.
